Instant Nut Milk
Yields 1 cup
This nut milk is great if you don’t have time to strain your milk. Depending on how much you need, the ratio is about 1 Tbsp. of nut butter to 1 cup of milk (you can increase butter if you want richer milk). You can use any kind of nut butter so long as it is raw. Make sure almonds are European raw almonds, as North American almonds are never raw.
1 Tbsp. Raw Almond Butter
1 Tbsp. agave nectar or maple syrup (stevia if you are avoiding sugar)
1 cup water
1 tea. coconut butter (optional but adds great richness)
Pinch sea salt
Blend in a blender and ta da! You have raw almond milk in under a minute.

I just discovered your site, LOVE it! I want to make this milk, can I make my own nut butter? by high power blending the nuts?
Thanks :-)
Hi Maria, I’m so glad you like it! Yes, you can make nut butter in a high power blender. I prefer a food processor because there is a little more room to scrape down the sides but you can actually use the blender too. It should take between 10-15 minutes of running the machine. Make sure to scrape down the sides with a spatula. It will help to keep the mixture moving.

Great, thank you! I’m sure it will be delicious!
